Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Squad.com collects, uses, and protects your personal data. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at dataprotection@squad.com.
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data
For individual users who sign up directly, Squad.com is the data controller — we decide how your information is collected and used to provide our service.
For business users, the contracting company is the controller, and Squad.com acts as the data operator, processing data according to that company's instructions.
We also work with trusted third-party operators (such as hosting providers, chatbots, and AI models) that help us run the platform. Our contracts require them to handle your data securely.
How We Keep Your Data Secure
Your data is stored on AWS and Azure servers with restricted access. These servers are located in the United States, which may involve an international transfer of your personal data.
We use encryption, access controls, and two-step authentication to protect our databases. No content you enter is used to train AI models — it is used only to fulfill your request and then stored separately.
3. What Data We Collect
To register and use Squad.com, we collect:
Individual users: full name and email address.
Business users: representative's full name and email, company name, tax ID, and address.
Optional: photos and voice recordings, if you choose to create digital avatars.
Automatically collected: access logs (IP address, date and time of access) and cookie data.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
Create and identify your account
Generate digital characters (avatars)
Provide our services and integrations
Send sales, marketing, and product updates
Draft contracts and meet tax obligations
Provide customer support
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except with service providers necessary to operate the platform, when required by law or court order, or when you have given consent.
6. Access Logs
We keep access logs (date, time, and IP address of platform use) for a minimum of 6 months, as required by Brazilian law (Federal Law nº 12.965/2014).
7. Your Rights
At any time, you can ask us to:
Confirm whether we are processing your data
Access your data
Correct inaccurate or outdated data
Anonymize, block, or delete unnecessary data
Transfer your data to another provider
Delete data processed with your consent
Learn who we have shared your data with
Withdraw your consent
8. Cancelling Your Account
Individual users: email support@squad.com to cancel your account.
Business users: requests must be made directly to your company, which is the data controller.
Once your account is cancelled, we will delete your data promptly, except for information we are legally required to retain (such as access logs).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version applies from the date it is published. If a change requires your consent, we will ask for it directly.
