This Privacy Policy explains how Squad.com ("Squad", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes personal data when you use our platform. By using Squad.com you agree to this Privacy Policy. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at dataprotection@squad.com.

1. Who is responsible for your data

• Individual users: when you sign up directly, Squad.com is the data controller: we decide how your information is collected and used to provide our service.
• Business users: when a company contracts Squad.com, that company is the data controller and Squad.com acts as the data operator (processor), processing data according to that company's instructions.
• Connected advertising accounts: when you connect a Google Ads account, we process that account's data on behalf of the advertiser, only to carry out the actions you request on the platform.

We also work with trusted third-party operators, such as hosting providers, chatbots and AI models, that help us run the platform. Our contracts require them to handle your data securely. They are described in sections 5 and 6.

• To draft contracts and meet tax obligations.

Google user data follows its own, stricter rules, described in section 4. It is never used for sales or marketing communications or for any purpose other than those listed there.

4. Google user data

Squad.com only accesses data from your Google account after you connect it and grant permission on Google's consent screen. You can revoke this access at any time (section 4.6).

We use Google user data solely to provide and improve the user-facing features of Squad.com that you see and use, such as:

• creating, editing, pausing and optimizing paid media campaigns on your behalf, when you request it;
• displaying performance reports and metrics;
• creating and updating audiences and sending the conversions you configure;
• uploading the videos and managing the product data you select for your campaigns;
• suggesting keywords, ad copy and campaign settings, including through AI features (section 5).

4.3 What we do not do with Google user data

• We do not sell Google user data.
• We do not use or transfer it for advertising, including retargeting, personalized or interest-based ads.
• We do not transfer it to data brokers, advertising platforms or information resellers.
• We do not use it to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
• We do not use it, and do not allow anyone to use it, to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
• No Squad.com personnel read this data, except: with your explicit consent for a specific support request; when necessary for security purposes, such as investigating abuse; to comply with applicable law; or when aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

4.4 Limited Use

Squad.com's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4.5 YouTube API Services

Squad.com uses YouTube API Services. By using the YouTube features of Squad.com, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Your data is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

4.6 How to revoke access

• In Squad.com: go to the Paid Media module, open Settings and click "Disconnect Google".
• In your Google account: go to the Google security settings page and remove Squad.com.

After revocation, we delete Google user data within the periods in section 7.

5. Third-party AI providers

Squad.com uses large language models from third-party AI providers, such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Google, to power its AI agents across conversational tools, marketing tools, paid media and other product categories. The provider used may vary depending on the feature. When you use these AI-powered features, the following may be sent to these providers solely to process your request and deliver the feature: text inputs, prompts and messages you submit, and any content you provide within AI-powered tools for processing.

• When an AI feature works with data from your connected Google accounts (for example, to suggest ads, keywords or optimizations), we send only the data needed to generate that response. This transfer happens solely to provide the feature you requested and follows the Limited Use requirements in section 4.
• We use these providers under zero data retention terms: they do not store your data after processing the request. We require all of them to handle your data securely and with the same or equal level of data protection that we provide.
• These providers do not use your data, including Google user data, to train or improve their AI models, and we do not allow them to.
• By creating an account and using Squad.com, you consent to this data sharing. You may withdraw this consent at any time by discontinuing use of the AI-powered features or by contacting us at dataprotection@squad.com.

6. Sharing, cookies and security

6.1 Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except:

• with service providers needed to operate the platform (hosting on AWS and Azure, chatbot and the AI providers in section 5), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations;
• with Google, when you request an action in your Google accounts, such as publishing a campaign, uploading a video or sending a customer list;
• when required by law, court order or a competent authority;
• with your explicit consent;
• in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, provided the acquirer follows this policy. For Google user data, we will ask for your consent before any such transfer.

We do not allow third parties to serve advertisements within Squad.com.

6.2 Cookies

We and our service providers place and read cookies and similar technologies on your browser, including through Google Tag Manager, to keep you signed in, remember preferences and measure platform usage. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

6.3 Storage and security

Your data is stored on AWS and Azure servers with restricted access. These servers are located in the United States, which may involve an international transfer of your personal data.

We use encryption, access controls, and two-step authentication to protect our databases. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, including Google access tokens and data from connected Google accounts. No content you enter is used to train AI models — it is used only to fulfill your request and then stored separately.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy or to meet legal obligations.

Deletion requests: you can ask us to delete your data, including Google user data, at any time by emailing dataprotection@squad.com. We delete Google user data within 7 days of your request, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Account cancellation

• Individual users: request cancellation by emailing support@squad.com.
• Business users: requests must go through the contracting company, which is the data controller.

Once your account is cancelled, we will delete your data promptly, within the periods above, except for information we are legally required to retain (such as access logs).

8. Your rights

Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), you may request at any time:

• confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
• correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed in breach of the law;
• portability of your data;
• deletion of data processed based on your consent;
• information about who we share your data with;
• withdrawal of your consent.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version applies from the date it is published. If we start accessing new types of Google user data or using it for a new purpose, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. Changes that require consent will be communicated to you directly.
